Trade Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Agreement

CB Tuning operates as a business-to-business (B2B) wholesale file supplier and tuning consultancy servicing professional garages, workshops, mobile remappers, and established trade specialists. By creating a dealer account or purchasing/downloading any calibration file through our portal, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Dealer Responsibilities & Pre-Checks

As the operating technician or workshop carrying out the physical work, you are solely responsible for:

• Conducting full mechanical and diagnostic health checks prior to software modification.
• Performing pre-datalogging and post-datalogging to confirm vehicle parameters (such as boost pressure, fueling, and exhaust gas temperatures) are operating within safe functional thresholds.
• Ensuring stable workshop battery voltage (using a professional battery maintainer/stabiliser) throughout reading and writing procedures to prevent control unit corruption.
• Saving and archiving full original backup reads safely before flashing any modified file.

3. Calibration Files & Liability

While our files are crafted using genuine WinOLS software and tested on our in-house Dimsport 2WD braked rolling road, tuning inherently increases mechanical stress on vehicle components. CB Tuning supplies custom calibrations under the strict condition that the target vehicle is in sound mechanical condition. We accept no liability for mechanical failure of clutches, turbochargers, engines, gearboxes, or emissions equipment resulting from pre-existing wear, component fatigue, or incorrect installation by the trade partner.

4. Turnaround Times & Support Hours

Standard portal file return times average around 15 minutes during operating hours. Standard support windows run Monday to Friday (09:00–21:00) and Saturday (09:00–17:00). Sunday coverage is strictly available by prior arrangement and booking. While we make every effort to return files rapidly, complex custom requests or unusual ECU variants may require additional calibration time.

5. Pricing, Accounts & Payments

Dealer accounts carry zero setup fees, subscription costs, or minimum order quantities. Trade pricing is subject to change with notice provided via our portal network. File credits and purchases are non-refundable once the custom file has been generated and issued.
